GuidedLedger fills the gap. $69 a month, real bookkeepers, your existing software, transparent pricing. We don't lock you into proprietary tools. We don't charge you hourly to answer questions. We don't bundle services you don't need.

We built this because we've been every type of customer this serves. We've sat in the CFO chair and bought these services. We've prepared taxes and cleaned up bad books for clients who deserved better. We've run brick-and-mortar businesses and franchise operations. We've operated remotely from another country and managed financial complexity across borders and currencies.

There's no part of the small business financial journey we haven't lived through. GuidedLedger is the service we wished existed when we needed it.

Meet the founder: Victor Schiano, MBA

Founder, GuidedLedger.

Victor Schiano spent 20 years as a US executive in the construction industry, most prominently leading operations and finance for a US business unit affiliated with Vinci SA — one of the largest construction and concessions groups in the world. As a senior operating executive, he managed $100M+ in annual revenue, owned both operational and financial responsibility, and reported into a global leadership structure spanning multiple countries and languages.

That experience — operating at scale inside one of the most rigorous financial environments in the construction industry — shaped how GuidedLedger approaches bookkeeping today. Clean books, transparent reporting, no surprises. The standard Victor held himself to managing nine-figure budgets is the standard GuidedLedger holds for clients managing five- and six-figure ones.

After leaving the corporate world, Victor became an owner-operator. He's an equity partner in Pampered Peach, a growing national salon franchise with 25+ units, where he helps lead financial strategy and operations. He owns and operates Long Island Tax Resources, a tax practice serving small businesses and individuals across the US. And he founded GuidedLedger to bring that combined expertise — operational, financial, and tax — to the small businesses that need it most.

Today, Victor operates GuidedLedger from Italy, where he's relocated to live a healthier, more intentional life while continuing to run successful US-based businesses. He manages his own tax complications across two countries and two languages — and built GuidedLedger as the kind of service he needed himself: remote-native, technology-enabled, and run by people who actually understand how modern small businesses work.

GuidedLedger doesn't file income taxes directly — that work goes through Long Island Tax Resources, a tax practice owned and operated by our founder, Victor Schiano. GuidedLedger clients get priority access for income tax preparation and filing, with pricing quoted separately based on entity type and complexity.

For sales tax filing, GuidedLedger handles that in-house — $3.75 to $45 per month per state depending on filing frequency.
